Pinterest is like Google, it’s unique and can grow your business tenfold. You can drive traffic to your site that is targeted which includes potential buyers that recurring.
People are making tens of thousands per day, month and year form Pinterest traffic alone. It extremely good and beneficial when you have a certain Niche that targets Women clothing, Making Money, and Weight Loss.
The Pinterest following majority is mostly women, so that is what makes it unique.
However, the real question is how does one set up a Pinterest Business Account?

Let’s have a look at how to set up a Pinterest business account so you can unlock all the features that Pinterest office for business.
To create your Pinterest business account go to business.pinterest.com. If you already have a Pinterest account as a profile and you want to use it as a business page, click on ‘Convert Now.’
By doing that, it will enable you to log into your Pinterest account and converted into a Pinterest business page.
You want to convert it to a Pinterest business page because this enables you to have access to the business features. These features include the option to advertise and view your Pinterest Analytics like this image below.
I’m going to assume that you don’t have a Pinterest Account yet. So go ahead and click on the join as the business button.
Pinterest would then take you to another window, there will you fill in your basic details. These include your email address, password, business name, a business type that fits the business that you’re in as well as your website.
Once you fill in the details click on create an account and then pick 5 topics to follow. Now because this is a business account and we want to use this account strategically to grow a business. Instead of just following pages that you are personally interested in.

A tip here is to find topics that your audience is interested in. why? Pinterest will then collect different pins from the Pinterest universe and show them to you in your Pinterest news feed.
It’s great to have stuff that you’re interested in. However, if you already have a feed with pins articles and content that your audience would love. You can easily reap interesting straight from your newsfeed.
Therefore, you want to be leveraging this as a way of aggregating content for your own board. My audience is about comics, Anime, clothing, artistic products, and creative professionals.
So instead of following topics that are specific I just do what I’m interested in. I would follow topics relating to my audience so I would look for things like art and craft, comic books and so on.
After all that Pinterest will begin to build the home feed for you. You need to also make sure you check your email for the confirmation from Pinterest.
This will confirm that the email address you set up with Pinterest is correct, this will enable you to prove you are the official recipient and to email them you ever lost your password.
If you haven’t received an Email from them when you signup, make sure you check your spam inbox. Sometimes it gets stuck in there.
Then, click on the confirm your email button that appears fit in the email. Now, if you noticed on your Pinterest feeds if you click on the search bar a the top of the page.
It will bring up a list of different categories with your feeds on Pinterest, and if you click on these topics it will bring up all these different pins relating to that area. These are all the pins of profiles that you have followed.
If you click on the button on the top left-hand side, you can post your content there.
Furthermore, if you would like to create a board, simply click on your profile name, then click on ‘Board‘ and fill in your details about that board.
How to Setup A New Pinterest Business Account Page
Moving on, you can change your business name you set up at first signup. You can change the picture that appears as a little thumbnail on your Pinterest page as well. The size dimensions of the image are 165 pixels High by 165 pixels wide.
Another thing can do also is to set your Pinterest username in the about you section. Within that area, you want to include a brief description that tells people what it is that you do.
In this area, you can add your location and you can add your website URL as well. Then when you are finished editing, click on the ‘Done‘ button and the changes will appear on your profile.
If you want to go back and change the profile image, text or the website URL. Simply click on the little columns button on the right-hand side of your page and click edit settings.
Remember, you can go back whenever and change your details. If you scroll through the same Section as well you’re able to control the notifications that you received via email from Pinterest.
However, you can do this by reading through the settings and adjusting the buttons options and then clicking on ‘Done‘ at the top down the bottom once you’ve done so.
